Paint Night

Join us for a fun and light-hearted evening of art, song, and wine! Participants will paint a take-home wine glass in a workshop led by artist Goldie Yudelevich, enjoy a specialty mocktail and sample Italian wines provided by Escalade Wines, and hear a selection of opera arias and art songs performed by soprano Karen Santos.

About the Presenters:

Goldie Yudelevich, graphic designer & visual artist

Goldie is a graphic designer and visual artist originally from Mexico City. She studied at Scuola di Arte-Design & Fotografía in (Italy), and earned a Master’s degree in Visual Arts from Universidad Iberoamericana (Mexico). In her creative journey as a Winnipeger, Goldie works with adults and children to create hand-painted, personalized items on unique canvases, using everything from clothing to household objects. She leads engaging workshops, presents parties, and helps artist of all ages to connect with their imagination and develop their artistic voice.

Karen Santos, soprano

Karen is a versatile soprano and visual artist from Mexico City, now based in Canada. She is known for her “rich, velvety voice” (Schmopera) and her stage presence. She has performed leading operatic roles including the Countess (Marriage of Figaro) and Belinda/Anna (Dido & Aeneas) with Manitoba Underground Opera, Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro) ith Manhattan Opera Studio, Papagena (The Magic Flute) and Lady Anna (Patience) with Opera NUOVA, and Micaëla (Carmen) with Festival de Ópera en Oaxaca. Winnipeg audiences will recognize her from her company debut last season as Giannetta in Manitoba Opera’s 2024 production of The Elixir of Love.
