Maria is a 2024 biographical psychological drama film starring Angelina Jolie as opera singer Maria Callas, following the singer in the week before her death in 1977 Paris as she reflects on her life and career. The film earned a nomination for Best Cinematography at the 97th Academy Awards, and Jolie was nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards.
